Westboro Elementary School, Father Kenneth Kearns Catholic School, Pine Street Elementary School, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School, Sherwood Heights Junior High, École Campbelltown, New Horizons Charter School, and Strathcona Christian Academy are just some of the schools that are located near the community.

Outdoor Spaces

Sherwood Park boasts over 44 sports fields, playgrounds, trails and parks including Broadmoor Lake Park, Centennial Park, Ball Lake, and Sherwood Park Natural Area. Nearby are the Strathcona Wilderness Centre and Elk Island National Park.

Dog Parks

Sherwood Park is a pet friendly community as it offers 5 year round off leash dog parks, including Deermound Park, which is one of the largest dog parks in the region. An additional 9 off-leash spaces are designated seasonally throughout the year, making finding a space for your pooch to run simple.

Recreation

For the sports-lover in your family, Salisbury Village offers easy access to Strathcona Athletic Park, Millennium Place, Kinsmen Leisure Centre, Emerald Hills Leisure Centre and a number of community sport centres.
